S´Algar Diving | Marine Reserve Isla del Aire

We are experienced, multilingual, dedicated, passionate, fun and gorgeous people all in all. But – so might be others elsewhere as well. So why S´Algar Diving? What sets us apart from anybody else?

Location of S´Algar Diving
To start with, we are located in a very privileged position.

A new Marine Reserve has been declared Between S´Algar and Biniancolla, right on our doorstep. After one year, we already see the positive effects. The rays stay longer, the groupers are growing, the Barracudas linger longer and closer. We can´t wait to see yet more changes, after its first winter break.

The dive centre sits right at waters edge in the bay of S’ Algar, in the south-east corner of Menorca. With a big swimming pool to the right, the sea in front and the quay to the left, we have everything a dive centre might need or want on our doorstep.

Perfect for teaching courses and try dives as we can use the pool and the bay for confined water training and go off on one of our dive boats for the open water part. All within a few metres. Very safe and accessible for all ages, the very young and the very….err… and adults alike.

Languages
Between us, we speak Spanish, Menorquian, English (ok, you get that elsewhere in Menorca too… ) and adding to the mix Italian, French, German and Czech.

Boats
Our main dive boat, ¨While You´re Down There¨ (Zum Zum) is a very comfortable and easily accessible boat. Spacious deck with plenty of room to move or even dance if you wish, easy low access into the water with a (not so) giant stride and a comfortable long ladder allowing you to come back onto the boat without hassle. With a maximum of 10 divers on board at any one time, this makes for a pleasant experience above and under the water.

¨While You’re Down There¨ is accessible to divers with mobility difficulties, with plenty of room for a wheelchair as well.

We use our 7,5m RIB ¨Boris´ for Boat Excursions, Snorkelling Excursions and of course for scuba diving. The powerful Boris will take us to the slightly further away situated dive sites in no time at all.

We are safety-minded, with all the permissions in place, following local laws and regulations. Our rental dive equipment – mainly Scubapro – is recent and well maintained. We dive in small dive groups and take your preferences always into consideration. Whatever you may need, we´ll go the extra mile for you.

As if the diving was not enough, we will enhance your excursion with visits to secluded beaches or a Whale and Dolphin-watching tour between the dives………   Soz, that´s a lie.
